Sunset Coast Archers > Beginners Class Competition Results

On the second last day of our Beginners to Winners Archery course we have a competition among those participating in the course. Participants get 1st, 2nd and 3rd medals for their class.

We then carry the scores over so that we can give 1st, 2nd and 3rd Medals at the end of the year to those Archers who are still a part of our club.

Age groups are as follows or here

Youth Divisions (Under 21)

• Cub - Athletes can compete in this division until 31st December of the year of his/her 13th birthday.
• Intermediate - Athletes can compete in this division until 31st December of the year of his/her 15th birthday.
• Cadet - Athletes can compete in this division until 31st December of the year of his/her 17th birthday.
• 20 & Under (Junior) - Athletes can compete in this division until 31st December of the year of his/her 20th birthday.

Seniors

• Open - Any athlete can compete in the Open division but all those between 21 and 49 years must.
• Masters - Any athlete may compete in the Masters Class in tournaments from 1st January of the year of his/her 50th birthday.
• Veterans - An athlete may compete in the Veteran Class in tournaments from 1st January of the year of his/her 60th birthday.

Under each age division, archers shoot in their bow type and Male/Female categories.

For example: Open Female Recurve, Cadet Male Compound.

Beginners To Winners leader board for 2011.

We started this competition on the 25th Sept 2011 so it includes 2 courses. We have had 27 people go from Beginners to Winners however some either did not attend the competition shoot or were unable to finish it. Following are the Archers still in the running for the 2011 Club Champion Beginner to Winner awards.

This will be adjusted at the end of January 2012 once we know who has gone on to become a member of our club from the Dec course.
